Romero & McPaul was born in 2012 with a simple idea and a clear vision, to introduce the icónico velvet slipper in México. The founders, Hernán Junco and Raúl González were key players in the development of the brand, its concept and the business model. They traveled tirelessly throughout Europe in search of factories specializing in the manufacture of each style of shoe that they presented to their loyal clientele: from velvet slippers, sneakers, Chelsea boots and even the aristocratic Belgian loafers.
